This notice applies when you apply for a BATETI role or subscribe to BATETI vacancy alerts.
Controller and scope
The controller is the BATETI entity identified in Legal Notice & Seller Details. This notice supplements the main Privacy Policy for recruitment.
BATETI accepts applications only for published vacancies through the official application form. Do not send identity documents, financial information, health data or other sensitive material unless an authorized recruiter requests it for a lawful and explained reason.
Data we collect and where it comes from
We process your name, email, optional phone number and LinkedIn URL, CV, cover letter, role applied for, application date, interview and assessment notes, communications, application status and authorized administrative notes.
We receive this data from you, referees you authorize, publicly available professional sources such as LinkedIn, and staff involved in recruitment. If we obtain material information from another source, we will provide any notice required by law.
Vacancy-alert subscribers provide an email address and consent record. Alert data is kept separate from a job application and is not used for general marketing unless you separately subscribe to it.
Purpose and legal basis
We use candidate data to receive and assess applications, arrange interviews, communicate decisions, verify information where appropriate, prepare an employment relationship, protect the recruitment process, maintain equal-opportunity and security records where lawful, and establish or defend legal claims.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible employment contract, BATETI’s legitimate interest in selecting and documenting suitable candidates, compliance with employment and other legal duties, and consent where a particular optional activity requires it. Vacancy alerts are based on consent and can be stopped at any time.
We do not make hiring decisions based solely on automated processing. Application status tools support staff workflow; an authorized person remains responsible for recruitment decisions.
Who can access candidate data
Access is limited to authorized BATETI hiring staff, relevant interviewers and administrators who need it for the role. Hosting, communications and recruitment-technology providers may process data under contract on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
We do not sell candidate data and do not share it for advertising. If a role is employed by a different BATETI entity, we will identify that entity before transferring your application.
Retention and security
Applications marked rejected or hired are automatically deleted from the recruitment system after six months. We may keep a limited record longer only where law requires it or it is reasonably needed for a documented legal claim. If we want to keep your application for a future role beyond the normal period, we will ask first.
Vacancy-alert details remain until you unsubscribe. We may keep a minimal suppression record to respect your opt-out. Uploaded CV files are protected by access controls and are available only through authenticated administrative access.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, receive portable data where applicable and withdraw consent. Withdrawing an application does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may not require deletion of a record we must retain by law.
Email [email protected] and identify the role and application email. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority; for processing in Georgia, this is the State Audit Office of Georgia in its data-protection capacity.
Use the unsubscribe link in an alert or the email preferences page. This does not withdraw an existing job application.
